Placement Coordination

Future educators are interviewed and matched with an experienced urban educator in a neighborhood school, earning 20+ observation hours towards certification.

I guide students through the district paperwork needed to observe in Chicago Public Schools so there are no surprises.

City Living Support

I connect students with a vetted short term housing option and guidance on locating other options.

Future Educators learn basic city living skills and ways to make the most of their experiences during the stay.

Urban Education Courses

I lead a course with learning rooted in the neighborhood schools you spend time in, as well as exploring current issues in Chicago's education landscape.

I also offer The Folded Map Classroom Project. Two contrasting placements on different sides of the city are assigned and you examine the effects of urban segregation from a classroom lense.

Teach 312 is a short-term, high-impact urban education experience designed for pre-service teachers who want 5-100 observation hours that push them to grow. You’ll step into a real classroom, engage with students, and reflect deeply on what it means to teach in a large urban district.
