What Teach 312 Does

1
Placement Coordination
Future educators are interviewed and matched with an experienced urban educator in a neighborhood school, earning 20+ observation hours towards certification.
I guide students through the district paperwork needed to observe in Chicago Public Schools so there are no surprises.

2
City Living Support
I connect students with a vetted short term housing option and guidance on locating other options.
Future Educators learn basic city living skills and ways to make the most of their experiences during the stay.
3
Introduction to Urban
Education Seminar
I lead a course with learning rooted in the neighborhood schools you spend time in as well as exploring current issues in Chicago's education landscape.
